Salim Arif is an alumnus of the National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi. In theatre, he has several production oriented workshops to his credit in a number of places in India.  currently working as head of Production Design in Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. He is also on the visiting faculty of several prestigious institutions including National School of Drama, New Delhi, Film and Television Institute of India,Pune, BNA, Lucknow, National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai and National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

Initiated from 1985, Paridhi Art Group revolves around the field of Art and Culture with a vision to create multiple exchange nodes so that a plural environment emerges. Since then, Paridhi has been organizing theatre workshops, Awareness Campaigns, Special Talent Promotions and promoting hidden talents across India. We arranged some theatre workshops for School children as well as specially challenged People to provide them a platform. Although some of our fruitful projects have created a landmark in the field of art and culture. Our Vision is to create multiple exchange nodes. We feel this is necessary to strengthen dialogue and involve various learning communities in regarding control of their lives. Transforming the role of the community worker and opening up a variety of spaces for local dialogues, expressions and relationships is vital to this process.
